I cant find any quick facts about the Cher; it doesnt seem to be a record holding department in any respect! Pretty though.
Eure et Loir produces more wheat than anywhere else in France. (Which is quite surprising when you see the huge wheat fields around Poitiers in the Vienne).
There are also more peas grown here...
There are more lakes in the Brenne area of the Indre than anywhere else in France. I'm not sure how many there are, but if you want to count them - feel free!
Sadly another department in the region I cant find any quick facts about. Is there some reason why the Centre region lacks such exciting snippets of information….?
